Mobbin The Mountains began with a few of us, a couple bikes, and a need to get away.
We set up camp in the heart of West Virginia. No agenda, no sponsors, just open roads and people who love to ride. It wasn’t about drawing a crowd. It was about reconnecting with why we ride in the first place.
We figured maybe a few folks would show up.
Instead, we found something we didn’t expect:
community.
It Was Never About the Hype. It Was About the People
The first riders rolled in from all over. Some we knew. Most we didn’t. They brought tents, stories, spare tools, and that quiet bond only riders understand.
No one cared what you rode, how long you’d been riding, or where you were from. Everyone just showed up, pitched in, and made it feel like something bigger than all of us.
That first Mobbin wasn’t an event.
It was a shared experience.
Growing Without Losing Ourselves
Since then, Mobbin has grown fast.
Vendors came on board. More riders joined in. We added rides, a stunt show, and even brought in local businesses to help support the vision.
But the heart of Mobbin hasn’t changed.
It’s still about real connections, campfire stories, long rides, and making space for riders to be themselves with no pressure, no posturing.
